ICI's objectives and our common areas of interest made it obvious for our two organizations to join forces. The partnership we've built up over the last few years has enabled us to pool our resources to jointly support research projects led by young researchers, in particular through the Canceropôle's Emergence AAP.

I had the opportunity to take part in the Summer school "Tumor heterogeneity and single-cell approaches" (2021 edition) as well as the Blended Mobility (2022 edition) of the Institute Cancer and Immunology. These two programs enabled me to take part in high-quality lectures on multiple facets of immuno-oncology, given by Internationally renowned experts. I also had the opportunity to take part in a short mobility program in Madrid to learn a cutting-edge technique. The program is also an opportunity to meet international students, expand our network and practice our language skills.
So I'm very grateful to the Cancer and Immunology Institute program for these enriching experiences.

I would like to thank the Institut Cancer et Immunologie for their dedication to advancing projects that are both structuring and innovative in the regional context. I applied for the A*MIDEX Interdisciplinarity 2022 call for projects with the help of ICI, which set up a "fair play" pre-selection system for all researchers, while remaining rigorous in its selection criteria. Following ICI's endorsement, my research project was able to enter the selection process set up by A*MIDEX. I then called on the institute again to finance a thesis project for a brilliant foreign student. ICI's selection of this student was, I believe, strongly linked to the coherence of the thesis project with the A*MIDEX funding sought.
