Governance of the ICI institute is provided by several complementary bodies that monitor, implement and evaluate the institute’s missions and activities. The institute’s executive office implements and coordinates the initiatives and missions of the ICI.

Our other strategic and operational monitoring bodies

The institute’s aim is to structure excellence in research, training and transfer in oncology and immunology through its steering committees, implement a strategy of training through research and clinical innovation in the following priority areas: fundamental, translational and clinical onco-immunology.

The role of the Institute Council is to administer the institute by managing its broad policies. 

 

Composition:

The Institute Council is made up of members with voting rights in two colleges:

The Board meets at least twice a year.

To structure excellence in research, training and transfer in the fields of oncology and immunology, the Institute, through its steering committees, implements a strategy combining training through research and clinical innovation.

Composition:

The Research Steering Committee’s key missions are to promote excellence in fundamental, translational and clinical research, develop cutting-edge technological platforms, and enhance the appeal of the site in order to attract new talent.     

The Socio-economic and Cultural World Steering Committee’s main mission is to design and promote initiatives to encourage the development and integration of socio-economic and cultural issues.

 

Composition:

The Scientific Training Advisory Board (STAB) is appointed for a three-year term. Its members are appointed by the institute’s Scientific and Technical Manager, on the recommendation or suggestion of in-house teams. STAB also maintains a gender balance and includes members from outside France. Its members are eminent scientists of international renown, specialising in the fields of cancer and immunology.
