Daniel Oore holds the ICI/Iméra Research-Creation Chair in Oncology and Immunology. His project at Iméra - Aix-Marseille institute for advanced study - explores the synergies between sound, aesthetics and medical science, particularly in the context of oncology and immunotherapy research and care. At the heart of this project is the idea that transdisciplinary dialogues facilitated by sound can combine science and art to promote clinical innovation and improve the well-being of patients and communities. This project proposes that the multiple roles of sound in cancer care can open up new avenues for physiological and social healing.
