On September 2, 2025,the Institute of Cancer and Immunology (ICI) was pleased to welcome Giovanni Bernardini, Ph.D., from Sapienza UniversitĂ di Roma, for a fascinating lecture titled:
🧬 “Dissecting the role of chemokines in NK cell adaptation to the liver metastatic niche.”
Unfortunately, the seminar by Dr. Cristabelle De Souza, Ph.D. (“Targeting the tumor microenvironment using novel immunotherapies to overcome chemoresistance and metastasis in solid tumors”) could not take place as planned.
However, the ICI and Dr. De Souza are continuing their collaboration, and a new opportunity to welcome her to Marseille will be announced shortly.
