🎨 Art, science and commitment: a collaborative fresco for patients at theInstitut Paoli-Calmettes
On Friday, October 10, the ICI team had the pleasure of collaborating with artist Jerome Beguier of Studio Zics to create a participatory fresco on the theme of immunotherapy "𝓤𝓷𝓮 𝓸𝓭𝓮 to 𝓵𝓪 𝓻𝓮𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓻𝓬𝓱𝓮 𝓬𝓸𝓷𝓽𝓻𝓮 𝓵𝓮 𝓬𝓪𝓷𝓬𝓮𝓻".
The fresco was part of an anniversary conference to mark 100 years of the Institut Paoli-Calmettes, dedicated to cancer immunotherapy and featuring discussions at two round tables.
To mark the occasion, high-school and university students from the Panorama Aix-Marseille Université program were invited to work alongside the artist in completing the work, symbolizing the encounter between science, art and collective commitment.
Painted in the lobby of the IPC, the work highlights the creativity and commitment of all participants to a single goal: to promote research and the fight against cancer.
