On April 17, the very first edition of the Institute Cancer and Immunology's "Innovation Stories" seminars took place! Guests of honor at this first event included Xavier Morelli, co-leader of the Structural Biology and Integrated Chemistry-Biology team (iSCB ) and director of the "HiTS" high-throughput screening platform (IPC/CRCM). At this seminar dedicated to innovation, he presented his project, ORTHOS Therapeutics ( ORTHOS X) under the title "Entrepreneurial ecosystem presentation through the creation of ORTHOS Therapeutics". The project aims to develop small molecules targeting a key enzyme in the nucleotide rescue pathway, a mechanism essential to the survival of certain tumoral or hyper-proliferative cells, such as the T lymphocytes involved in autoimmune pathologies. He presented his project, Albatroz Therapeutics, entitled "From bench to biotech, from GALA to Albatroz". Its aim is to prevent the degradation of the extracellular matrix, a key factor in the pathogenesis of cancer and arthritis. Modal title Modal title Modal title
