The Institute Cancer and Immunology launches a new call for projects to recruit three full-time PhD students over 3 years (starting in October 2024)

Launch of the 2024 call for research projects coordinated by the Institute of Cancer and Immunology in partnership with the Doctoral School of Life and Health Sciences (ED62) of Aix-Marseille Université (AMU) to fund three doctoral contracts over three years.

In line with the vision and mission of the Instituts d'établissement, starting in October 2024, ICI will fund interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary projects in immunology-oncology involving two researchers with complementary skills:

• Scientists from different teams (local, national or Internationally), the principal supervisor must be associated with ED62.
• A duo composed of a scientist and a clinician, the main supervisor must be associated with ED62.

Main themes include

• Immunomodulation in health and disease,
• Immunomonitoring and inflammatory responses in autoimmunity and cancer,
• Multiscale heterogeneity in tumor and immune systems,
• Signaling circuits in cancer and immune cells,

• Translational and clinical research in immuno-oncology.
